Our Cloud 9 Restaurant is a typical traditional Chinese restaurant and is well known for its tasty local dishes and Sichuan-style cuisine.
You can learn the secrets of our experienced chefs, the culture and customs behind the food, as well as how to prepare our famous dishes at home.
Classes begin with an exploration of the local food market, so you can see where we source our high-quality ingredients.

You will create your own menu that includes three dishes and after the class you can sit down to enjoy a meal that will taste better for being cooked yourself. Steamed rice and tea are provided to complement your meal.

If there is any particular dish you would like to prepare, you can speak to the management in advance and arrange a price.

Classes are taught in English and each student has their own set of cooking equipment - it's a real hands-on experience. The maximum group size is 18 people, ensuring individual attention.
There are 2 classes a day:

The show is based on a romantic movie: 'Sister Liu San Jie' that tells the story of a beautiful Zhuang minority girl, who like other zhuang girls can sing very beautiful folk songs. She receives high praise not only for her voice but also her kind heart and helping of others. She falls in love with a fishman's son, but is loved by a rich old landlord. The rich and powerful family of the landlord kidnap her and lock her up, but with the help of the village people and the fishman's son, she manages to escape and finally marries the fishman’s son - true love! It is interesting to know that most of the actors and actress are farmers from the villages nearby. They work in the rice fields by day and are actors by night. What an amazing experience in their lives!

1). How many people are involved in the show?
There are around 500 people who work, including the buffaloes as actors!

2). How many people can watch each show ?
There are a maximum of 3000 people at each show.

3). How long is the show, and when does it start?
It lasts just over an hour and five minutes,usually, it starts from 20:00 every night.

4). How much is it and should we make a reservation?
There are 3 different types of ticket for the show. They are 198 yuan , 368 yuan and 688 yuan. We need to make a reservation in advance, especially during the busy seasons, such as May week, National Day holiday and Chinese Spring Festival.

There are two piers in Guilin for the Boat Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo.
1) Mopanshan pier which for Chinese tourists;
2) Bamboo pier which for Foreign tourists:

A). Take a big boat and cruise the Li River from Guilin Bamboo pier to Yangshuo. The cruise takes around 5 hours and includes lunch. There are 2 departure times: 09:00 am and 09:30 am. You will need to stay in a Guilin hotel overnight. The drive from Guilin to the Bamboo pier will take about 30mins. Or we start to take the transportation in the early morning incase to reach the boat leaving time.

B). Hiking and cruise from Yangti to Xingping with lunch in Xingping.
Yangshuo - Yangti - Xingping – Yangshuo( if you only walk from Yangdi to Xingping,that would take around 4 hours hiking and crossing the River Li 3 times.) You stay in Yangshuo overnight.

C). Take a bike from Snow Lion Riverside Resort to Liu Gong Village 17km. Then take a boat from Liugong back to the hotel. ( Bike tour from Resort – Liugong will take 1 and half hours, from there take the boat back will take around 2 hours) or you do take the boat from Resort with your bikes and back by bike. Lunch at Liugong village or Fuli market.
